The success of the Legacy Project centers on unique oral histories, but with the passage of time, it is inevitable that some of these stories will become lost or obscured. The A. Quinn Jones Museum & Cultural Center will be a facility which not only preserves a rich heritage but provides opportunities to showcase dynamic times and places throughout history. Through exhibits, museum programming, workshops, and the Heritage Trail, the museum will be a local history destination.
"Preserving our history is important in that it is the mirror which reflects our past, but also directs us toward our future."
